Here are a few answers to questions that we’re often asked. We hope you find the information helpful.

How much time should I expect for my gathering?

Typically, gatherings last about 2½ hours from the time guests walk in the door to when the gathering ends. (The candlemaking process takes about 45 minutes, the lanai and feast celebration lasts approximately 45 minutes and the ceremony blessing usually runs 45 minutes.)

Does Pure Light provide invitations to my event?

Yes, we offer custom invitations, which are printed on a quality, heavy card stock and paired with matching envelopes. These set the perfect tone for your gathering right from the start. And we include a Pure Light brochure with the invitation to familiarize your guests with our studio. Simply supply us the details (name, date and time) of your gathering, and we’ll take care of the rest. We can even have your invitations delivered to your door. Invitations start at $75 for 12 cards and envelopes.

How many guests should I invite?

Our lanai seats 12 guests comfortably, but more guests are welcome, as we can join studio tables together and create additional, intimate seating. The space holds a maximum of 28 guests.

Can I have a celebration with a ceremony?

You are welcome to hold just a celebration, or just a ceremony. But we find that most guests really enjoy pairing both together, as it makes for a truly memorable and special gathering.

What kinds of different menus can I offer my guests?

We can work with you to create any size menu you’d like for your gathering. From appetizers to complete five-course meals. Click on our Feast menu to see some of our different choices.

What is an average price I can expect to spend on my gathering?

Gatherings average about $55 per person with candlemaking, a moderate Feast and the ceremony blessing. For more information, stop in Pure Light or call us at 949.376.7200, and we can help price your gathering with more accuracy per your specific requests.

Do I need to put down a deposit to reserve my gathering?

Yes, we ask that upon booking your gathering you leave a 50% deposit paid via credit card or cash.

What is your cancellation policy once I book my gathering?

There is no cancellation one week prior to your gathering, as we have numerous requests for gatherings and need to ensure availabilities to inquiring guests.

Is your ceremony religious?

Our ceremonies are non-denominational, as are all things at Pure Light. Our spirituality is based in the higher powers of nature. We are open to all cultures and faiths.
